Trivia Question #1

QUESTION:

How many pins does your ball actually touch when you throw a perfect strike?

ANSWER:

A right handed bowler’s ball actually contacts the 1,3,5, and 9 pins (or in some instances the 8 pin).  Left handers contact the 1,2,5 and 8 pin (or sometimes 9).

Theoretically, if you bowl a 300, you only hit 48 pins!

DAY 2 – CTF IVAN NELSON MEMORIAL TOURNAMENT

Day 2 – Match Play final was a tough day of competition for all of our qualifiers.  Tough lanes *Athens oil pattern” and tough competition but the London and District youth qualifiers didn’t come home empty handed. Brayden Vaughan from St. Thomas earned a silver medal in the Bantam Boy Division; Kyle Molto of London earned a silver medal in the Junior Boy Division after a grooling 1 game roll off; and Hailey Jolliffe of London earned a bronze medal in the Junior Girl Division.  The balance of the qualifiers came home with a great experience as they all made us proud and never gave up.  Congratulations to our medal winners who also take home scholarship $. As well  congrats to all the qualifiers. Job well done!
